The Fuji Declaration will celebrate it’s 10^th anniversary next May.

Starting on this 9^th anniversary and continuing over the next year, we will engage in a program to look back on the past decade to deepen the “Divine Spark” which is at the core of The Fuji Declaration.

Exploring the Divine Spark

It is undeniable that the “Divine Spark” and “Love,” which are the CORE values of the Fuji Declaration, are essential for world peace, but when we feel that our power is still not enough, what kind of power will unite people all over the world and lead to a peaceful world? Specifically, what kind of power is further needed?

Even in our daily lives, we are sometimes carried away by information from the internet and mass media, but if we have a stronger axis and strive for the essence, we should be able to act and think even better.

To begin with, read the bolded parts of the We affirm” in the Fuji Declaration, keeping them in mind, and relate them to your own thoughts and actions over the past 9 years.

As individuals responsible for the future of life on Earth, we affirm that:

We affirm the divine spark in the heart and mind of every human being and intend to live by its light in every sphere of our existence. We commit ourselves to fulfilling our shared mission of creating lasting peace on Earth through our ways of living and acting.

We intend to live and act so as to enhance the quality of life and the well-being of all forms of life on the planet, recognizing that all living things in all their diversity are interconnected and are one.

We will continually strive to free the human spirit for deep creativity and nurture the transformation necessary to forge a new paradigm in all spheres of human activity, including economics, science, medicine, politics, business, education, religion, the arts, communications, and the media.

We shall make it our mission to design, communicate, and implement a more spiritual and harmonious civilization—a civilization that enables humankind to realize its inherent potential and advance to the next stage of its material, spiritual, and cultural evolution.

Similarly, for one minute in a quiet and serene moment, imagine how your thoughts and actions over the past 9 years have been connected to your family, friends, acquaintances, and ultimately all life, mutually influencing and shaping the world.

Future Plans

Toward the 10th anniversary next year, we will begin an interview series to explore the Divine Spark. The questions in the interview series will be the same as those addressed in this work, with additional questions to delve deeper into the interviewees’ thoughts and backgrounds. The interviews will be posted on the Fuji Declaration website and elsewhere, so please take a look.
