  True Peace Through the Divine Spark

  Quite often in the political sphere, we hear the phrase “it’s a fragile peace” used when describing an accord.  We even use the word peace on a regular basis to hope for a temporary state of quiet.  This is rather unfortunate and has over time diluted the idea of what true peace is.  It almost requires us to now define a new word to describe the state that can be achieved through the divine spark or, better yet, to redefine what is meant by “peace”.   Forgiveness: Courage Through the Divine Spark

  Courage.  We typically think of it when we think of someone being unyieldingly strong in the face of  something that is formidable:  Sir Edmund Hillary climbing Mt. Everest. Or maybe the image of a cancer survivor who never lost hope while enduring the pain and uncertainty of their treatment comes to mind.  Stories about ordinary people doing extraordinary things against seemingly impossible odds are also synonymous with courage.  Without doubt, courageous acts such as these are wonderful and inspire hope and courage in others and bring people close to the divine spark.   Igniting the Divine Spark Through Giving

  We often hear that it is better to give than to receive.  In many spiritual traditions giving is seen as divine.  It is often said that we must give our love to those whom we say we love and that the more we give, the stronger our love grows.  Indeed, when we truly give of ourselves, the divine spark within us grows stronger.
